This circa 1850-1855 iron pontiled squat with a bold rectangular slug plate. The base is deeply recessed with a heavy pontil scar and residue. This bottle was found in a Philly privy and has only been rinsed out, never tumbled, has natural patina. The top is an applied double taper.

Condition: Excellent - perfect structurally with no dings, cracks, bruises, etc. A bit of patchy light haze and spotty light wear and scratchiness, which would tumble clean nicely if desired. But doesn't need it, has a nice natural patina.
