This is a richly colored chunky quart stoneware mead bottle that was dug in early 2023 in a Philly privy. Great condition. Most Whittemore mead bottles don't actually say Mead.

Color: beige with reddish brown and milk chocolate patches along one side. Great character

Condition: structurally perfect with no chips, cracks, hairlines or dings.It only has some very minor trace roughness and light wear in spots. Great example.
