This is an early circa 1840 short but chunky squat blown in a 3-part mold with an improved pontiled bottom and an applied old style double taper top.

Height:  7 1/8"  
Color: black glass - deep olive amber

Condition: perfect structurally with no chips, cracks or dings. The pontil is a bit light. There is some inside contents residue and patchy haze, and the bottle has some overall light scuffing and wear. But great character in the glass and very old looking.
