This is a circa 1850-1855 iron pontiled squat lager type with a rectangular slug plate. This is one of the tougher names to find, only rarely seen for sale. It has an applied taper top with collar. The pontil is very weak but present.

Condition: perfect structurally with no dings, chips or cracks. The collar and top are good, maybe slight roughness in one or two spots on the collar that you need to feel for. Never tumble cleaned, natural state. So it does have stain and spotty light wear that could be polish cleaned if desired.
