Quart Summer / Winter Flask

Circa 1860 Very Pretty Quart Summer / Winter Historical Flask

This is a splendid example of this popular flask. It's the large quart size, chunky in depth. The mold impression is excellent - the trees jump out at you. The color is a deeper aqua shade. The bottom is not pontiled but does have the hinge mold (snap case) seam - Civil War era. The top is a robust double collar with drippy sag line, and there also is some bubbly crudeness.

Embossed: (large tree with no leaves but a bird) // (large tree with leaves)

Height: 8 7/8"
Color: hearty aqua

Condition: nearest mint - perfect structurally with no chips, bruises, cracks or dings. Pretty clean. Just spotty trace wear. Really nice example.
