Circa 1850 Pontiled Genuine "Essences"

This is a long rectangular essence bottle with a crude rolled lip, beveled corners, and an open pontiled bottom. It's unusual because "Essences" is plural, and it is always singular. Although this is dug, it is full of character because of the opalescent stain coloration.

Embossed: GENUINE ESSENCES

Height: 5 1/8"
Color: aqua

Condition: perfect structurally with no chips, dings, cracks or bruises. It's an uncleaned, dug bottle with some etch wear and overall stain. But it's the type of glowy, purple hued privy stain that is attractive for those that like character.
