Mrs. Allen's Worlds Hair Restorer, New York - Circa 1865 Deep Puce Amethyst
This is a splendid example of this early New York hair bottle in a dark but vivid puce amethyst coloration. Hinge mold, Civil War era. It has a crisp applied double collar top. Height: 7 3/4" Color: deep puce amethyst Condition: almost perfect - there is a super subtle 1/4" ding near the shoulder (no chips or cracks) - see pic below. Need bright light to see it.
