Circa 1850 Fat P. CONWAY Green Union Glass Works Squat - Philadelphia

This is one of the many Conway variants, being the very scarce and earlier Union Glass Works variant with the arched embossing in the front rectangular slug plate. The top is an applied double collar, lager style. The bottom has a very deep kickup with a great iron pontil scar (see pics. This is a chance to pick up a scarce Philly variant very seldom seen for sale.

Height: 7 3/8" 
Color: deep emerald green

Condition: an uncleaned bottle in its original natural state, meaning it has a natural glowy patina but also some spotty surface wear, and patchy haze. But structurally perfect with no chips, dings, cracks or bruises. Mentioned for total accuracy, the top rim of the lip has a 1/8" rough spot or two, no harm really but needs to be described.
