This is a hefty pint sized black glass ale, base embossed, circa 1845. Pontiled, with an applied double taper top. This has great whittled glass character.

Embossed on base: RICKETTS & CO GLASS WORKS BRISTOL

Height:  9 1/2"  
Color: black glass - very deep olive green

Condition: near mint - perfect structurally, clean, just spotty light wear. Only issue is the embossing is weak, as often is the case with these.
