This circa 1850-1855 iron pontiled squat has a rectangular slug plate. The base has a wide iron pontil scar and some ring residue.

Condition: very good - perfect structurally with a good collar, and no lip issues, dings, cracks, etc. It has never been polish cleaned and so has light dullness and spotty light wear. Nice glowy natural patina.
