From my own collection that I've been thinning out, here is an iron pontiled lager that I've never seen for sale. I dug this in 2018 and then got very lucky finding a slightly better example. It has a sloping shoulder lager shape and is for Germantown, part of now Philadelphia. It has an applied double taper top, and the iron pontil scar is frosted in a kickup base. Priced down for the lip chip - good chance you'll never see one for sale again.
Embossed: J. CORWELL / GERMANTOWN // C
Height: 7 1/2"
Color: deep green
Condition: a dug bottle that has only been rinsed out. The main issue is a 1/2" lip chip on the backside, and an associated flake that goes into the collar (but not neck). Totally stable and old - no cracks. Otherwise, it has some dullness and spotty wear.
Reference Number: 3185
Price: $300
