There are several variants of the Riddles, the R. and the W. Riddle. This is an earlier "W" with the taper top. It has a very clear frosted iron pontil but no iron residue. Recently dug in a Philly privy, it has only been rinsed out.

Condition: perfect structurally (no chips, dings, cracks), except for a teeny flea bite nip on the lip that you need to feel for. As a recently dug bottle that hasn't been tumbled, it does have some overall light scratchiness and stain. But the embossing strike is strong and it would tumble fine if desired.
