Circa 1850 ROUSSEL Liquid Hair Dye, Philly
This is a small 6-sided bottle with sand chip pontil and a very crude simple flare top. Embossed: ROUSSEL'S // - // LIQUID // - // HAIR DYE Height: 3" Color: clear Condition: a dug bottle that has heavy stain and a 1/4" rough chip on the lip (see pics). I think this could be flint glass which always stains badly like this. Suitable as an example and weirdly attractive. Reference Number: Y408 Price: $19 |
