This is a very attractive 12-lobed boat type ink with crude shear top, English, circa 1870.

Base embossed: THACKER & CO LONDON (backwards N's)

Color: deep aqua

Condition: excellent - p excellent - perfect structurally with no chips, dings or cracks. It does have patchy haze and overall light wear - never cleaned but I like the natural glowy patina as is, very attractive. The base embossing is weak and hard to read.
