Washington/Taylor Flask (GI-39)

Circa 1850 Washington / Taylor - Dyottville Glass Works Historical Flask (GI-39)

Here is a chunky sized circa 1850 quart flask that is priced way down because of a lip chip. It has lots of micro-bubble crude character.

Embossed THE FATHER OF HIS COUNTRY / (portrait of Washington) // GEN. TAYLOR NEVER SURRENDERS / (portrait of Taylor)
Color aqua
Height 8 1/2"
Top plain shear
Base open pontil and hinge mold seam

Structural Condition

excellent, except there is a 1/2" "V" chip out of the lip, which still has the original cork.
Surface Condition very nice - virtually no wear or stain. Maybe trace dullness but hard to tell because of a plethora of teeny bubbles.
