Here is a really unusual ruby glass back bar decanter with 2 of the 3 sides pinched for gripping. Beautiful color and stylish with the perfect-fitting stopper. Both the bottle top and stopper have what I think is either a pewter or silver coating. Gold needed to be added in the form of gold chloride to give the glass this deep ruby color, which is why it's so uncommon.
The inside of the neck and stopper are frost-fritted. This is a hefty decanter, weighing in at almost 2 pounds with the stopper. The only issue is that the bottom of the stopper is chipped all the way around from use, as is usual for big heavy glass stoppers. This isn't the newer pinch bottles seen on Etsy!
