Circa 1852-1854 Chicago Pontiled Blue Soda - HUTCHINSON Celebrated Mineral Water
This is the scarcer version of the blue Hutchinson pontiled sodas, and it's a terrific example. It has loads of crude character with whittle hammering in the glass and a lovely medium cobalt shade. This was the family that invented the "hutch" closure for later sodas.
