This is one of the tougher John Ryans with the large XX, 1859 date, and an applied hat type top. It is deeply kicked up but just missed being pontiled. Nice example. Embossed: JOHN RYAN / SAVANNAH / GEO / 1859 // X X / PHILADELPHIA / PORTER Height: 6 7/8" Color: deep cobalt blue Condition: excellent - perfect structurally with no chips, dings, etc. This has been lightly tumble polished to its original luster but retains a few minor wear spots, including a very slight nip off the heel.
