This is a stubby little ink, very wide for it's height. It's an attic find with blue ink residue inside. The top is a crude rolled lip, and the bottom has a chunky tubular pontil scar. Might be earlier than 1850.
Unembossed
Height: 2 3/8"
Color: light aqua
Condition: near mint - structurally perfect with no chips, dings, cracks, etc. It has some faint dullness, and off course has residual blue ink stains inside (no harm). Unusual shaped pontil ink.
