This is an earlier port or rum type quart with a shallow string lip and subtle waist near the foot. Nice hammered character. The pontil is giant and jagged in spots. Circa 1790-1820. Crude.
Height: 9 3/4"
Color: blackish olive green
Condition: almost perfect - it has a very shallow 1/8" flake off the lip that is hard to see. Slight wear. Otherwise perfect really. Loads of character.
