Circa 1850-1855 Pontiled Lyon's Powder B & P N. Y.
Here is an open pontiled poison in a great color but with damage to the top. Nice example and displays great from the one side. The top is an inward rolled lip. Embossed: B & P / N. Y. // LYON'S / POWDER Height: 4 1/2" Color: deep cherry puce Condition: about half of the top is broken away, extending about halfway down the neck on that side.
