1850's Era St. Louis Pontiled Mineral Water - Hassinger & OBrien
This is a very cool midwestern pontiled soda - chunky in size and it has lots of very stout embossing. It also has never been polish cleaned and retains a lovely irridescent sheen. The pontil is a round iron ball scar, very clear but no iron residue. The top is an applied blob. Embossed: MINERAL WATER / BY HASSINGER & OBRIEN / 178 OFFALLON ST / ST.. LOUIS Height: 7 7/8" Color: teal hued deep aqua Condition: excellent - perfect structurally with no chips, dings, cracks, etc. Never polish cleaned and has patchy light irridescent stain that would tumble to near mint but I wouldn't touch this bottle because it has more character as is.
