This is one of the very tough to find earlier Roussel bottles. It's not the more common "THis Bottle is Never Sold" type and it was before he started adding Dyottville Glassworks to the bottles. The top is a sharp applied taper. The bottom is iron pontiled (but no residue). This is an undamaged, uncleaned, privy-dug bottle in it's unaltered state.

Condition: perfect structurally with no chips, cracks or dings. It does have some spotty wear and minor imperfections, and it has some dirt and stain patches. The whitish residue is privy flake that could be tumble polished away if desired. But it also has nice, natural character as is.
